EKG vs Company Sales Efforts? We are sometimes asked how EKG fits within a company’s existing sales strategies. Always a good question! At EKG, we have had the pleasure of working with all types and sizes of biotech and pharma companies. We represent the spectrum of life science products and services: Capital equipment, services, bioinformatics, consumables, etc. Some of our partners have established sales teams and some are start-ups with limited resources. The easy answer is that EKG can and has successfully supported all types of clients.The EKG program works most effectively when our clients are committed to it. We look for “hunters” and don’t experience much luck with “grazers”. What is the difference? Hunters are just that…they are always on the move looking for more. Grazers are those that cover the same turf and are satisfied with the same acre of grass to feed upon. We here at EKG are hunters…. Our best partners are too!Bottom line is that our best clients (large and small-medium size) choose to make the investment in EKG program. We can be looked upon as either an additional budget expense or one that is actually a reasonable economic alternative to existing sales expenses. But we need hunters to make it happen!
